Signing up is as easy as... Well you know. 

  1. 1. Contact us via email, telephone or use our "New Client" link in the menu options above.
  2.  A representative will contact you to set up a convenient no-charge consultation within 1 business day.
  3.  During the new client consultation, our representative will come to your home to gather all important information about your home, your pet(s) and your routine. Our representative will gather (2) tested keys* & any other device needed to gain immediate access to your home, review the services contract  and confirm service dates..
*Please note all keys are retained at our office in a secure file for future services. If you require their return, they must be returned in person. No exceptions.

  When searching for someone to help with your pets while you are away, there are many services  to choose from. So how do you choose which service is right for you? Here are some things to consider when making your decision:

  • First, know who is coming into your home. Companion Pet Services does not hire sub-contractors. Each of our team members are employees who have had a thorough background check and drug screening.

  • Second, is the company or person bonded and insured?   Many individuals do not carry insurance. If they claim to, ask for a copy and confirm it is up to date. 

  • Next, ask for references. Any legitimate service or individual should have dozens, both client and professional services such as veterinarians, boarding facilities and groomers . Once you have them, check them; all of them

  • Find out details on payment and charges.  Many area pet services charge you additional fees or surcharges , ie. last minute fees and holiday surcharges. At CPS ,  you won't have to worry about any "extra charges" for using our services when you need us. We believe in honesty and straightforward, competitive pricing.

  • Finally, does your pet service provider have a backup should they be unable to perform your service? If your service is working solo, you might find yourself having to catch an early flight home should they get ill or injured.  CPS has a dedicated team of individuals trained to assist you should your primary sitter be unavailable.
